A Christian day school, St. James Lutheran School serves the academic, spiritual, and bodily needs of children of Martin, Faribault, and Watonwan Counties in Minnesota as well communities in northern Iowa. Located in the City of Northrop, St. James Lutheran School is midway between Fairmont and Truman on Minnesota Highway 15.  

As a Parochial School of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS), we welcome all, as our Savior commanded, "Suffer the children to come unto me and forbid them not." (Mark 10:14) Our curricula is based on the directives of our Lord, "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you," (Matthew 28:19) and as such we make Jesus Christ and Eternal Salvation the focal point while providing all academic subjects that are required by the state of Minnesota.
